SRI LANKA

We drove a tuk-tuk for nearly 2,000 km across the island. The monsoon season refused to end, but we stubbornly kept going — through landslides, floods, and roads washed away.

At one point, Jovana panicked and left me face to face with a wild elephant. We got stuck in the mud, ran out of fuel in the middle of nowhere, and one morning woke up to the most beautiful view in the world from the rock of Pidurangala.

Adventure after adventure piled up, leaving us with memories impossible to forget.
